This Privacy Policy explains how the King Contractor internal dashboard (“the Dashboard”) handles information, including information accessed through Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”) via its authorized Facebook and/or Instagram APIs.
The Dashboard is an internal tool built and operated by King Contractor Agency LLC (“King Contractor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for use by our own authorized staff. It is not a public, consumer-facing application, and it is not created by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Meta.
Purpose Of The Dashboard
The Dashboard is used internally by King Contractor to manage and monitor our own connected Facebook Page and/or Instagram professional account — for example, reviewing scheduled or published content and viewing engagement and performance information for our own social accounts. Access to the Dashboard is limited to authorized King Contractor personnel.
Information Received Through Meta APIs
Where an authorized user connects a Facebook or Instagram account to the Dashboard through Meta's official login and authorization flow, the Dashboard may request access to a limited set of information from Meta's APIs, strictly as needed to operate the features described in this Policy. We only receive the categories of information covered by the specific permissions granted during that authorization, and only for accounts the connecting user is authorized to manage.
Facebook & Instagram Account Or Page Information
This may include basic information about a connected Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, such as the Page or account name, ID, and category, to the extent made available through the authorized connection.
Profile & Account Identifiers
This may include identifiers such as the connected Page ID, Instagram Business Account ID, or a similar unique identifier that Meta's APIs use to reference the connected account. These identifiers are used to associate API data with the correct account inside the Dashboard.
Posts & Media Information
Where relevant to a Dashboard feature, this may include information about posts or media published to a connected Page or account, such as captions, media URLs or thumbnails, and publish dates.
Comments & Engagement Information
Where relevant to a Dashboard feature, this may include comments, reactions, or other engagement associated with a connected Page's or account's posts, made available through Meta's authorized APIs.
Analytics & Insights
Where available through Meta's authorized insights endpoints, this may include aggregate performance metrics for a connected Page or account, such as reach, impressions, or engagement totals.
Access Tokens & Authorization Information
To maintain a connection to Meta's APIs on behalf of an authorized user, the Dashboard stores the access token and related authorization information issued by Meta for that connection. Tokens are used solely to make authorized API requests on behalf of the connected account and are not shared outside of that purpose.
How We Use This Information
Information received through Meta's APIs is used only inside the Dashboard, for the purposes described above — namely, to display, organize, and report on a connected Facebook Page's or Instagram account's own content and performance for our authorized staff. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles of individuals who are not the authorized account holder.
Data Storage And Security
Information obtained through the Dashboard, including data received via Meta's APIs, is stored using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Access to this information within the Dashboard is limited to authorized King Contractor personnel who need it to perform their role.
Sharing & Disclosure Of Information
We do not sell information obtained through Meta's APIs, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. Information may be disclosed where required to operate the Dashboard's underlying infrastructure (see “Third-Party Services” below), to comply with applicable law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of King Contractor, our staff, or others.
Third-Party Services
The Dashboard may rely on third-party infrastructure providers, such as hosting or database providers, to operate. Any such providers process information solely on our behalf and under obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy. Meta's own collection and use of information, separate from what it provides to the Dashboard through its APIs, is governed by Meta's own privacy policy and terms.
Data Retention
We retain information obtained through Meta's APIs only for as long as needed to support the Dashboard's operation for an active, authorized connection, or as otherwise required by law. If a connection is disconnected or a deletion request is processed, associated stored information is removed as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.
User Rights
An authorized user who has connected a Facebook or Instagram account to the Dashboard may request details about the information we hold in connection with that account, request that it be corrected, or request that it be deleted, subject to any legal or operational requirements that may apply.
Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of information associated with their connection to the Dashboard at any time. Instructions for submitting a deletion request are available on our Data Deletion Instructions page.
Changes To This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Dashboard or applicable requirements. Updates will be posted on this page along with a revised “Last updated” date.
