The Starting Point

Fast Crews, Thin Marketing

HighPoint is a fast, hands-on roofing crew in western North Dakota. Their selling point is speed, with most residential roofs finished in a single day and no upfront payment. At our baseline in late 2025, the work was great but the marketing was thin: 15 monthly organic visits, 55 ranking keywords, and just 49 search clicks. Leads were inconsistent, and the channels they ran were not working together.

We built one system across SEO, Local Services Ads, and Facebook, made it cheap to run, and made it tough to knock down. Then the May 2026 Google Core Update landed in the middle of the climb, and our system held.

What We Did

One System, Three Channels

SEOOrganic search & AI visibility.

Result: Keywords more than tripled to 174, with 26 in the top 3.

LSALocal Services Ads.

Result: Leads grew from 10 in January to 60 in May.

FacebookFacebook Ads.

Result: Leads as low as the $30s for most of 2026, dipping as low as $26.

  • Built the technical and backlink base: sitemaps indexed, clean robots.txt and an llms.txt file so AI search tools can read the site, and a backlink cleanup that left zero toxic links.
  • Fixed internal linking and on-page structure, lifting site health from 93% to 98% and page speed to below 3 seconds.
  • Verified the profile, tuned the LSA service area to match the website, expanded coverage across the state, and filtered out the job types that drive spam.
  • Silo pages with answer-first intros and a wider service area across North Dakota: Bismarck, Dickinson, Fargo, Williston, and Watford City, reaching into South Dakota and Montana.
  • Released monthly GMB posts and answer-first blogs backed by real roofing job insights, and ran an ongoing review-response campaign.
  • Ran continuous Facebook creative testing with conversion tracking and reviews on the landing page, adjusting budget with the seasons.
The Lead Economics

Roofing Leads at a Fraction of the Going Rate

This is where HighPoint stands out. Their Local Services Ads cost per lead ran as low as $16 to $20. For context, our highest-cost market sits near $200 per lead. Facebook held in the $30s. Across the funnel, HighPoint is getting roofing leads at a fraction of what most contractors pay, and getting more of them every month.

Surviving the May Core Update

The May 2026 Core Update rolled out on May 21 and caused some mid-tier keyword movement, like it did across the whole roofing space. The core commercial Dickinson terms held at position 1, the Google profile kept driving 20 direct calls and 54 website clicks that month, and 6 new 5-star reviews landed, with homeowners calling out fast service in rural towns where it is hard to get crews to show up. The system kept producing right through it.

What Contractors
Are Saying?

King Contractor Agency has helped 200+ roofing, HVAC, plumbing, and construction companies across America build their brand, rank higher on Google, and generate more leads online.

The Takeaway

One client. A footprint that grew from almost nothing to 174 keywords and 197 monthly clicks.

A Google profile pulling 10 times the calls it did at the start, and three channels feeding cheap, steady, high-quality leads. That is what a real marketing system looks like.

These guys are swimming in deals. The new campaign keeps getting cheaper and better leads than ever.
